Life seems to get busier and busier in our household. Between home schooling and keeping up with a rambunctious toddler, my days seem to fly by and I try to figure out what I actually accomplished. We have had a round of strep and colds in our home so that has added to the chaos.
In the middle of October, I was able to have a relaxing getaway to the Northland Ladies Heart Conference. It was so much fun to spend time with my friend Kristi and the ladies of Berean Baptist Church. I got a ride to MN and then rode to WI with them, so it was a long trip but definitely worth it. I came back so refreshed, encouraged, and challenged in my walk with God, but physically I was exhausted thanks to Kristi! :)
My parents and cousin Stevie came for a visit to celebrate Isaac's third birthday. Isaac had a blast but couldn't understand the concept of a birthday only lasting one day. We celebrated my mom's birthday and packed in many fun activities. It is always hard to say goodbye, but I am so thankful for parents who are willing to come and visit often. I think they come for the grandkids more than to see their daughter!

Hurray!!! A new post and pictures too! I enjoyed your update. Isn't it wonderful to have Nana's and Papa's visit. I have a feeling when we have this little one our we will suddenly have visitors much more frequently. We already figured out that Grandkids have much more pull than children do! At least with my parents. LOL.
